So... I finished my HGUC Nu gundam... Here's a picture.

Hey there, reader

So, I've been working on my HG Nu Gundam recently. I'm quite happy with how my variation on the colour scheme is turning out. I just wanna say, the above pic is still WIP so, don't be too harsh. One thing that I have noticed about the Nu Gundam though, is the inability to stand well when the fin funnels are attached. Kind of annoying, but I have a plan to get over it....

What I hope to do is create a diorama of the Sazabi and the Nu fighting above Axis. That's the plan anyway. I don't think it should be too difficult, but some aspects might pose an interesting challenge. Anyway, I'll try finish this guy off as soon as I can to get some decent pics of him and upload some sketches of plans for the diorama. I have some stuff lying around that might work well with it..... I'll say more it in a future post.

One thing idea I thought I'd throw up here is making bring your own music style slideshows to make the galleries into video format. Any feedback on that would be appreciated.

An Introduction

Hello, I'm okamishade. I'm starting this blog to showcase my gundam kit collection to the internet and to create a record of my builds. As you might be able tell from the HG sazabi above, I like to paint and detail my kits and have recently started to do some light modifications. I hope to show what build and maybe help out anyone following the build. There are many great tutorials on the web already, but I hope to help out anyone who has never read about some techniques before. Well, that's the idea anyway.

About myself, I'm studying chemistry in C.I.T., Ireland and I've been collecting gundams for little over a year now. Personally I'm not all that exciting, but hopefully my build logs will be colourful and interesting for you to read^ ^. I'll put up a few pics for my Sazabi and my Nu gundam when it's finished in the next few days.
